For organisations hiring cloud engineers
Have a principal architect run your technical round.
If your organisation is hiring a cloud, DevOps or platform engineer, you can bring me in to run the technical interview on your behalf. 60 minutes, live with the candidate, and a scored written recommendation back to you within 12 hours. Your engineering leads never have to sit the round.
How it is billed
Per candidate, with no retainer and no minimum volume — stop after one if it is not working. Fee quoted on the scoping call.
01 — The problem
Most technical rounds are run by whoever happened to be free, against questions nobody agreed on.
The result is a decision made on rapport rather than evidence, and two engineers who will disagree about the candidate afterwards because they asked different things. Outsourcing the round is not about saving the hour — it is about every candidate for a role facing the same bar, assessed against the same rubric, by someone who has actually built what you are hiring for.
02 — How it works
Four steps, and your team only shows up for the debrief.
01
Scoping call
15 minutes. The role, the stack, the seniority bar, and what a strong hire looks like to you.
02
Rubric agreed
I send the scorecard dimensions before the first interview. You change anything that does not fit.
03
The interview
60 minutes, live, recorded with the candidate’s consent. Scenario troubleshooting, system design, IaC reasoning.
04
Scorecard in 12h
Strong Hire / Hire / No Hire with written rationale, strengths, gaps and the exact questions asked.
03 — Working internationally
Built around hiring teams in the US, UK and EU.
Timezone coverage
Based in IST, which overlaps the UK and EU working day comfortably and reaches US Eastern mornings. Interviews are booked in the candidate’s timezone, not mine.
Billed in your currency
USD, GBP or EUR for international engagements; INR domestically. Invoiced per interview with standard 14-day terms — no retainer and no minimum volume.
A defensible, consistent process
Every candidate for a role faces the same rubric and the same scenario set, with written rationale retained. That consistency matters if a hiring decision is ever questioned.
I am not a recruitment agency and take no placement fee. I have no financial interest in whether you hire the candidate — which is precisely what makes the recommendation worth reading.
04 — Roles covered
What I can credibly assess — and what I will turn down.
Each role has its own rubric, scenario set and failure modes. If your role is not here, ask — but I will decline anything I have not built with myself.
Next step
Hiring for one of these right now?
A 15-minute scoping call is enough to agree the rubric and get the first interview booked. No retainer, and you can stop after one candidate.
